CTD kills six terrorists in targeted operations

PESHAWAR:

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa CTD has successfully carried out two intelligence operations in Peshawar and Khyber, killing six “highly wanted” terrorists linked to Fitna al-Khawarij, while several of their accomplices managed to escape.

According to police, the first targeted operation was carried out on the outskirts of Peshawar in the Tipu Sano Bacha cemetery area near Zahir Ghari after confirmed intelligence reports.

A CTD ambush team engaged the terrorists and killed three of them on the spot. However, several of his associates fled, taking advantage of nearby residential areas.

The second operation was carried out in Jamrud in the Naqa Kalle area, adjacent to the Shah Kas Ring Road, where the terrorists were reportedly preparing a coordinated attack on the police.

The CTD personnel foiled the plan and killed three more terrorists.
