Karachi: A cut human arm that is located on a wall of a residential apartment in block 19 of Gulshan-E-Iqbal has been identified as belonging to Abdul Basit, who tragically lost his life in a traffic accident in Sharea Faisal near the nursery one day before.

According to police sources, the fatal accident took place on Saturday night. During the collision, Basit’s arm was cut off his body and disappeared from the scene.

The investigations suggest that the limb remained trapped in the vehicle involved in the accident, and the driver, instead of stopping, fled the scene with the body part still housed in the vehicle.

The authorities now suspect that the driver may have ruled out his arm cut near the wall of a residential apartment before continuing to evade the arrest. The police have launched a driver search.

After the discovery, the cut arm was delivered to the victim’s family. A case has been registered at the Ferozabad Police Station on the complaint of the deceased’s brother.

According to the victim’s family, Basit was a five -year -old father and was a resident of Umar Colony near Baloch Colony Bridge.
