- The update will arrive tomorrow for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X and Series S
- It will also come to Nintendo Switch 2 on a later date
CD Projakt developer finally told fans what to expect when Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 arrives.
As detailed in a recent live broadcast, the update focuses mainly on adding new options for players and making the world more immersive. Holder additions include three news cars and a new motorcycle, some of which can be obtained through new missions.
The associate director of the game, Pawel Sasko, described that he triggered the new missions as “intuitive” and also hasten to clarify that they will not be necessary to obtain 100% completion, so that the hunters of achievements can breathe a sigh of relief.
Each vehicle in the game will now also benefit from a new Autodrive system, which allows you to automatically lead to the locations you select on the map or on your next search scoreboard. Autodrive will offer a separate ‘wandering mode’ that takes it to an endless and relaxing trip by Night City.
The personalization of the car is also expanding, with Crystalcoat wider and compatibility of suggestion paint. Now, almost all game vehicles can be reprimanded. A visually varied car selection in the world will also appear, thanks to the addition of 205 generic paint works and 168 unique paint works for non -playable vehicles (NPC).
In addition to this, players will be able to trust Delamain’s taxi service, provided they have completed Delamain’s secondary search. Simply call Delamain on his phone in the game and a taxi appears, ready to transport it to where he wants.
Johnny Silverhand can even join you in the taxi, sitting beside you in the back passenger seats.
In other places, the big changes are reaching the photo mode of the game. 27 new NPCs are being added, newer attire and poses to choose from. You can also adjust time and weather, or even omit the frames to align the perfect shot.
On the technical side, the FSR 3.1 frame generation for PC players is being added. The game will also admit FSR 4 for those with compatible AMD hardware, although this comes with an AMD controller update on a later date.
The console players will benefit from the proper support of the variable update rate (VRR), which, hopefully, should make the game a bit softer.
Finally, we saw some new images of the recently announced Mac version of the game. The players who already have the game on PC will not need to buy it again to try it in Mac.
The update will arrive tomorrow on July 17 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S. It is also arriving at the Nintendo Switch 2 edition, although it needs a little more time in the oven.
