Islamabad:
In an attempt to promote healthy activities, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to assign lands for cycling and a sports complex within the diplomatic enclave and immediately begin its construction. The plan also includes building a modern and fully equipped event room, establishing food courtyards and establishing several kiosks.
The decision was taken during a recently held meeting chaired by the president of the CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, at the CDA headquarters. The meeting was attended by the Administration of the CDA Board and the Talat Mehmood Heritage, the planning of the member Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Asfandyar Baloch member environment, DG resources, control of DG and Housing Buildings, compliance DG DG, DMA Director and other high officials.
The meeting reviewed the development and beautification plans for the diplomatic enclave, including purchasing and sports facilities, road infrastructure improvements, horticulture works, ecological trees plantation, attractive landscapes, improved parking arrangements, modern lighting and improved safety measures.
It was decided to redesign the entrance and exit doors, install CCTV cameras, link the safety system with the Safe City Network and strengthen the monitoring mechanism.
The president of CDA directed the landscaping and the planting of trees along the roads of the enclave to make it one of the most attractive parts of Islamabad. He stressed that the improvement of the diplomatic enclave would improve the beauty of the capital and ordered a faster work execution while guaranteeing high standards. He added that all available resources are being used to transform Islamabad into a well -organized city of international standards.
