The founder of Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has recommended that Bybit should stop retreats as security caution after the trick of $ 1.5 billion on Friday.
“It is not an easy situation to treat. I could suggest all withdrawals for a little as a standard security caution. It will provide any assistance if necessary. Good luck,” he wrote in an X publication.
In response to the concerns that it would enlighten more fear, CZ added: “1.5 billion is sufficient. It is better to be sure now.”
Arkham’s data show that Bybit still has $ 20 billion in assets, and the company’s CEO, Ben Zhou, said the exchange “is solvent even if this hack loss does not recover.”
