Dan Levy revealed that he once considered revisiting Schitt’s Creek.
In a new interview with CBS sunday morningThe Emmy-winning creator admitted he had been “thinking” about a sequel to the beloved CBC comedy before O’Hara’s death earlier this year.
“No, not now. You can’t,” Levy said, visibly emotional as he walked through Goodwood, Ontario, the small town that served as the show’s fictional setting.
Levy reflected on memories related to O’Hara, who played matriarch Moira Rose for all six seasons of the series.
“It’s hard to be back. I didn’t think I would have such an emotional reaction,” he said. “Just a lot of memories, a lot of memories with Catherine. That’s what you have to hold on to.”
O’Hara, two-time Emmy winner known for SCTV, alone at homeand its iconic lighting Schitt’s Brook, He died at the end of January at the age of 71 due to a pulmonary embolism.

“For someone who wasn’t on the Internet, he knew how to make memes,” he added with a smile.
