ISLAMABAD:
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Friday emphasized that regional sharing of renewable energy innovation and expertise could help South Asia collectively reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and transition to a future greener and more sustainable.
He virtually addressed the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) 2025 Conference titled “South Asian Economic Outlook: Challenges and Opportunities”.
“In Pakistan, the energy crisis has long been a challenge, but it is also an area where immense opportunities lie. It has one of the largest untapped renewable energy potentials in the world.”
