The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, criticized the recent diplomatic actions of India, calling them “inserty” and “inappropriate”, and said that a firm coordinated response will follow.

Speaking to a private news channel on Wednesday, Dan said that India has not provided any evidence that links Pakistan with recent terrorist incidents and seems to be reacting for anger.

“India has not presented any evidence on terrorist incidents. His ads reflect a lack of seriousness,” he said.

He added that India’s approach to blaming Pakistan for his internal problems is not new. “India throws Pakistan every time he faces a crisis,” he said.

GIV confirmed that a National Security Committee (NSC) meeting has been convened for Thursday to formulate the official Pakistan response. “The statements of India are inappropriate, and the NSC will issue a comprehensive response,” he said.

He also criticized the recent diplomatic movements of India as hurried and emotionally driven: “It is not appropriate to vent anger for terrorism in this way.”

The comments arise in the midst of increasing tensions after the suspension of India of the Indo Water Treaty and the expulsion orders issued to the Pakistani citizens.
