- Marvel fans have gotten their first look at Daredevil’s new suit for born again season 2
- It comes via a leaked image from what appears to be a promotional photo shoot.

Marvel fans have given their verdict on the new suit that Daredevil will wear born again season 2 after an image of said costume was leaked online.
Over the weekend (November 1-2), a photograph of lead actor Charlie Cox wearing Daredevil’s iconic Shadowlands costume began circulating online. It has been difficult to identify the original source of the leak, but the image, which appears to be from a professional photo shoot, will likely be used for promotional purposes before Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will arrive in early 2026.
Regardless of who leaked the image, it wasn’t long before it was widely shared on social media, including by X/Twitter user Warling.
The image, which you can see above, shows Cox’s Matt Murdock sporting his famous black Marvel Comics ensemble. The almost all-black suit comes equipped with a pair of dark red shades and the vigilante’s iconic ‘DD’ logo adorning the chest piece.
This is not the first time we have seen this costume. In fact, behind-the-scenes footage of Cox wearing the costume was first glimpsed on r/MarvelStudios when season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again It was filming in early 2025. It’s certainly a minimalist, yet stylish costume, and, perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s been received positively by fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In the hours since the leaked images surfaced, large swaths of the Disney+ show’s audience have praised the live-action adaptation of the suit.
On [sic] This is one of the three best Daredevil costumes, and it’s not [sic] two or three,” and mcuspideydaily simply said “it’s beautiful.”
Meanwhile, on Reddit, vast-platform3647 said “is this one of the best costumes in the MCU? Looking at this reminds me of those early images of Iron Man back in 2007,” Tharkus wrote “he looks so badass,” and direct-locksmith-420 declared “finally, the damn logo.”

However, there are those who think Marvel Studios could have done more with the suit’s design. Over on On the other hand, Redditors a_o and Rockalot_L also commented on the lenses, although in a more fun way.
With born again Season 2 is coming in March 2026, and we’ve learned, and will continue to learn, more about the next season of one of Disney+’s best shows in the coming weeks and months.
