The PTI has strongly condemned the verdict of the Supreme Court in the case of reserved seats, qualifying it as a violation of the constitutional and democratic principles. In a statement published by the PTI central media department on Friday, Imran Khan’s party described the verdict as a "Continuation of state oppression" and "A theft of the public mandate". Once again, the constitutional right of the PTI has been looted through a judicial bank, he said. The statement indicated that the Supreme Court had previously ruled in favor of PTI, recognizing its right to the reserved seats, but now has contradicted that position. The statement added that this verdict stepped on the spirit of justice, the vote of the people and the right to represent. "The PTI presented constitutional points and legal arguments before judicial forums for months, but it has become clear that the courts exist only to serve the elite."
