Davante Adams and New York Jets seem to be directed towards a divorce. On Tuesday, ESPN reported that the Jets plan to release the three-time All-PRO receiver.
The news of the adams pending launch occurs only a few weeks after the team said they would separate from veteran Aaron Rodgers. The four times that called the NFL MVP signal and the open Star receiver have maintained a close relationship since they competed with each other for eight seasons in Green Bay.

Adams began the 2024 season with the Las Vegas Raiders, but met with Rodgers when he was changed to the jets in October. Gang Green acquired Rodgers in an exchange of box office two years ago, but the movement did not work in the way the field marshal or the team probably expected.
Going from Adams will give the jets a relief of the salary cover. New York inherited the Adams contract when it was changed to the team, and its salary had to represent an estimated $ 38.3 million in the limit in 2025.

The Jets relieved Robert Saleh of their training duties in the boss in October after a start of 2–3 of the season.
New York hired Aaron Glenn in January. Darren Mouugegy was also appointed the next general manager of the franchise that month. Glenn and Mougey will continue to supervise a low season that is expected to enter radical changes in the jets.
The jets were 2-4 before the arrival of Adams, but their record did not improve much once he joined the team. New York had 3-8 with ADAMS on the list and ended with a 5-12 general record. In 11 games with the jets, Adams accumulated 854 reception yards.
Garrett Wilson would be the main receiver of the jets once Adams’s departure becomes official. Wilson has finished each of his first three NFL seasons with at least 1,000 reception yards. He also transported in a race of 7 TouchDown passes.
