Atlanta – Dave Roberts knows one or two things about the management of players of the MLB superstar.
Last October, Roberts guided the Dodgers to the title of the World Series for the second time in his management career.
He has also been used as MLB Star Game Manager on Tuesday. Managing the stars of the National League is something that Roberts is familiar. He has done the job three times before, in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
Upon entering his fourth time as a manager in the summer classic, Roberts admitted that he no longer sees the responsibilities involved in work as a “challenge.”

“Now that there are no additional tickets, there is no challenge for me,” Roberts told Pak Gazette Digital. “It’s easy, my coaches are driving the launch … I’m enjoying conversations … going out with the players, the coaches. It’s great because we are going out with the best of the game, they all have a good time. They are not as nervous as they [would be] For a game that matters. So we can all neglect that, I appreciate that we have achieved something to get here. “

The main office of the Dodgers was far from being complacent in the low season. The team added to its list full of stars with a series of great success, which included bringing Japanese Roki Sasaki to Los Angeles. The team also signed the two -time winner of the Cy Young Blake Snell award. The star pitcher Clayton Kershaw, who previously declared that it would be a “Dodger for life”, agreed a new short -term agreement with the team.
Kershaw, along with his teammates Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Will Smith and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, make up the five dodgers that were selected as 2025 All-Stars.

Roberts added that all Dodgers players in Atlanta for this week’s All-Star festivities are “passing wonder.”
“Freddie falls asleep in his own bed,” Roberts said about Freeman during batting practice before Monday’s home run derby.
Freeman left Atlanta after the title of the 2021 World Series of the Braves. Then he won the MVP honors of the 2024 World Series with the Dodgers. “Getting welcome from the faithful of the Braves will be very fun for Freddie.”

“This respite will certainly be beneficial,” Roberts added. “But I think it will be good for all the boys. I think Shohei (Ohtani) could probably dispense with this, without all the attention. But, the game needs Shohei and he is a great defender of the game. Yammothao will be here … he will not launch what will be great. Will Smith will take a couple of bats … being the star of him, what is in which he is in the beginning The one that is a beginning, which is a floor of being great.
Roberts has spent the last decade driving the Dodgers. He entered the All-Star Break first in the NL West division.
The All-Star 2025 game begins at 8 pm et en Fox.
