David Justice has opened about his separation from Halle Berry.
Speaking especially the smoke podcast, the former MLB player discussed his relationship with Halle.
David shared that he and Halle realized that they wanted different things after five months of marriage.
He said: “My knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom about relationships simply was not vast.”
“So, I am looking at my mother, and I am a boy in the west. So, in my mind, I am thinking that a wife at that time should cook, clean, [be] traditional, you know? “He added.” Then I am thinking: ‘Ok, if we have children, is this the woman with whom I want to have children and build a family?’
The baseball player added: “At that time, as a young boy: not cook, not clean, it really doesn’t seem maternal, and then we start having problems.”
In addition, David also pointed out that Halle asked him to marry her after meeting him for five months. “I said well, because I couldn’t say no. Who will say not at that time?”
He said: “I don’t know if my heart was really interested, but I didn’t want to make her feel bad and say no, you know, or [if] I was right at the time. “
In addition, David said: “We spent a lot of time separate because I was making films in this country, that country. And honestly, I could probably have done it if I knew about therapy. If we knew about the therapy, we could probably have succeeded.”
“We never had important problems like that,” added the father of three children. “It’s alone … because he was young and had only been in a real relationship before her,” said David Justice, who married Halle Berry in 1993 and divorced in 1997, he said.
