QUETTA:
A polio campaign supervisor, Hafiz Qadir Jan, was shot dead in the Killi Thekeedar area of the provincial capital while creating awareness among the parents about the next vaccination campaign.
According to the police, the unidentified assailants opened fire, killing him on the spot before fleeing a motorcycle. Shortly after the attack, local residents and the police arrived at the scene and transferred the body to the Civil Hospital for Post Mortem. Police also begins an investigation into the incident.
Hafiz Qadir Jan, who also served as the local leader of Jui-F, was a well-known figure in the district.
