- The De’Longhi Eletta Ultra is a new fully automatic espresso machine
- De’Longhi claims it is up to 65% quieter than its previous coffee makers
- It’s on sale now in the UK for £1,149.99 (around $1,600 / AU$2,200)
De’Longhi has launched a new automatic coffee machine that it claims is up to 65% quieter than its previous models. The De’Longhi Eletta Ultra features something the company calls ‘Silent Technology’, which muffles the sound when brewing your morning espresso so you don’t wake up your family or give yourself a pre-caffeine headache.
Eletta Ultra offers a menu of 50 drinks, including customizable options. If so many options seem overwhelming, you can split them into hot and cold options, or see them divided into seven curated menus, which should make it easier to find something you like.
There are two interchangeable milk jugs with different spouts so you can choose between hot and cold milk foam, and the option to use a scoop of pre-ground coffee as an alternative to beans in the hopper.
In terms of features, the Eletta Ultra is the successor to the De’Longhi Eletta Explore, but with its updated design, it is more like the premium De’Longhi Primadonna Aromatic. Confused? I’ve put together the key specifications of each machine below to make things clearer.
