Santana, 29, refused to go into details when he approached the situation with the journalists after the game, but said that the fanatic involved had “crossed the line.

“You know me, I am a quiet type of person,” Santana said through an interpreter after the game. “I have never had any problems for any of the teams for which I have played. This guy crossed the line several times.”
The incident was developed during the seventh input of the second game near the visitor’s bullpen. Santana was seen approaching the wall with a security or official guard and pointing in the direction of a fan.

It was then that the reliever jumped and gave a swing on the fan.

“He crossed the line, and I would like to leave it like this. I have never happened something like this in my eight years in baseball,” Santana added.
Santana will still appear for pirates as the league reviews its suspension appeal.
