Los Angeles Chargers The Denzel Perryman supporter will not face criminal charges after the officials responsible for enforcing the law in California said they discovered five firearms in their car during a traffic stop.

“On August 1, 2025, at 9:30 pm, the agents of the Southern Los Angeles station made a traffic stop at the Los Angeles Chargers soccer player, Denzel Perryman, 32, for violations of the vehicle code,” said the Sheriff’s department in a statement.

“During the traffic stop, the agents discovered five firearms in Mr. Perryman’s vehicle, two of which were assault style rifles.”
