Derek Carr’s season in danger after the last injury: report

The NFL draft at the end of this month can be more interesting due to an injury to a veteran field marshal.

New Orleans Saints can be looking at signal callers with the ninth general selection because Derek Carr has an injury that can keep it out this year.

According to NFL Network, Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury that “threatens its availability for this season”, and surgery is an option.

Carr joined the Saints before the 2024 season after spending his first nine seasons with the Raiders in Oakland and Las Vegas.

It has not been exactly a great mandate. In 27 games, Carr has completed 68.2% of its passes for 6,023 yards, 40 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Carr failed seven games during the 2024 season due to AA Boil shock and a fracture of the left hand.

That said, combined with Carr simply turning 34, the Saints may have been looking at Quarterbacks.

The Saints finished 5-12 and in the last place in the south of the NFC last season, fired the chief coach Dennis Allen in the middle of the season and hired Kellen Moore as her new chief coach.
