Rawalpindi:
The 1500º Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) will be held today (Saturday) with great religious zeal, devotion and respect. In Rawalpindi, two central processions will be removed, starting at 9 am and continuing until late at night, with the recitation of Naats and Hardood echoing along the routes.
Strict administrative and security measures have been completed. The authorities have banned all illegal practices during processions, including the exhibition of weapons, political flags, slogans, high music, heavy vehicles, donkey cars and construction material along the routes. The parking has also been prohibited. The reception camps will only be allowed with not officers, while positions that serve milk, drinks, tea and food will be established.
All hospitals in the city have been put on emergency alert, with doctors, nurses and leaf of canceled paramedics. A Brigade 111 contingent will remain waiting. Throughout the day, procession routes will be sprayed with rose water, and participants will also be bathed with it.
