The district administration reviewed the preparation and helps activities as a result of heavy rains and the increase in water levels in Sakhi Sarwar and Muzaffarh on Sunday.
Accompanied by Zonal Administrator Auqaf Nasir Mahmood, the assistant commissioner Kot Chutta Shakib Sarwar and other officials, the preparation and relief activities following strong rains and rising water levels, DG Commissioner of DG Khan, Ashfaq Ahmad Chaudhry, carried out a detailed inspection of the areas affected by floods and relief camps.
The Administration evaluated aid efforts, safety agreements and rain data and registered floods.
According to the officials, the unusually rapid water flow triggered sudden floods in parts of Sakhi Sarwar, but the timely intervention by the district administration prevented low and loss of properties.
Commissioner Chaudhry said that the attached commissioner Muhammad Usman Khalid, province of Dpo Tariq and Rescue 1122 The teams immediately arrived at the affected sites, ensuring the safe evacuation of the residents.
“All rescue and help agencies are on a maximum alert. The protection of the life and property of people has been ensured through appropriate measures,” said the commissioner.
Later, he visited Muzafargarh, where he inspected a flood help camp established at the Hensiva Campri School.
