Diddy’s Accuser Jay-Z Gets Unexpected Favor in Latest Ruling

The accuser of Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs, who filed the lawsuit under the pseudonym Jane Doe, has been favored in the latest ruling in the case brought against the music moguls.

As reported by PEOPLEUS District Judge Analisa Torres allowed the woman to remain anonymous in her rape case against Jay-Z and Diddy.

It all started when the accuser in her lawsuit alleged that both Diddy and Jay-Z sexually assaulted her in 2000, when she was 13 years old, after they took her to the MTV Video Music Awards.

She initially sued Diddy for the first time in October and two months later amended her complaint in December, adding the name of Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter.

Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, in response, responded by stating that the filing should be dismissed if the accuser does not reveal her identity.

To which the judge denied the motion Thursday in her ruling, noting that “Carter’s attorney’s relentless filing of combative motions containing inflammatory language and ad hominem attacks is inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources and a tactic that probably won’t benefit your client.”

“The Court will not accelerate the judicial process simply because the lawyer demands it,” added Judge Torres.
