Difested GHQ attack case audience once again


Rawalpindi:

The Special Antiterrorist Court has postponed more hearings in cases of disturbances on May 9, including the case of attack of the General High Profile Headquarters (GHQ), now rescheduled for June 26.

On Saturday no procedures were held when Judge Amjad Ali Shah was on permission. The GHQ attack case trial has remained pending for more than a month.

On Friday a meeting of judges of the Anti -Terrorist Court (ATC) of all Punjab under the supervision of the monitoring judge of Judge Shahbaz Rizvi was convened.

During the meeting, the ATC judges presented progress reports on all cases, including those related to May 9 riots.

Judge Rizvi ordered the courts to accelerate the hearings of all pending cases. Despite the board, the GHQ attack hearings and several other related cases were postponed again on Saturday.
