Discord warned users who suffered a cyber attack that caused potentially worrying data.
In an advertisement for non -compliance with data published in the company’s blog, Discord said a third party was violated, which provides customer service services.
“The unauthorized part obtained access to the information of a limited number of users who had contacted Discord through our customer service and/or confidence and security equipment,” Discord said.

Payment data must be fine, since the company said that the complete credit card numbers were not accessed, as well as CVV codes. “We are in the process of contacting the impacted users. If you are affected, you will receive an email from [email protected],” the company concluded. “We will not communicate with you on this incident by telephone: the official discord communications channels are limited to emails from [email protected].”
An internal investigation was already launched, and a third -party forensic expert was dedicated. The police have also been notified.
