Buffy The Vampire Slayer Return after more than two decades. In Hulu, the series has restarted with Sarah Michelle Gellar, a favorite of fans, repeating their role.
While the Chief of Disney television studies, Eric Schrier, shared details about the project in an interview with Deadline.
“Karey Burke arose and [Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment Scripted President] Simran Sethi had always wanted to try to find a way to restart that show, “he shared.
The head continued: “Our partners in Fox Searchlight Television, with whom I also work, have an agreement with Chloé Zhao. It ends that Chloé Zhao loves Buffy, so we gather them. And outside that came the idea.”
According to Eric, Sarah, who played the demon hunter, “has also been part of this from the beginning; she is an executive producer.”
He also said that the restart is doing, especially considering fans. “So that is just an incredible package that emerged organically because we were excited to tell that story again after so much time in a new way.”
“I think that all these reset come from that idea of ’What is the new way in which we can tell these stories?’ It is not right, they are IP and we are going to restart them, “Eric added.
Meanwhile, the Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reboot has not yet had a release date.
