Star Wars is kicking off the New York Toy Fair in a pretty big way, and a little early, with its own Most Wanted event tonight. The focus is, as you might suspect, on Star Wars, but also on the first reveals of toys, collectibles and even clothing ahead of schedule. The Mandalorian and Grogu film, which will be released on May 22, 2026.
The Disney Store is revealing a pretty epic set of merchandise, all themed around the movie, and it has an extra dose of Galaxy’s Edge magic at Disneyland and Disney World, as some of them will be sold in the parks at merchants like Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, as well as exclusively at DisneyStore.com.
Leading the group is a personal favorite – take it from someone who’s a little obsessed with the adorable, cute, oh-so-fun BDX droids developed by Walt Disney Imagineering. As part of the existing Disney Store Droid Factory line of action figures, the BDX Droids will arrive in a four-pack.
Matching the gear that regularly appears at Disney parks around the world, and even on the high seas aboard Disney Cruise Line, you’ll get a red, blue, green, and orange BDX unit for just $39.99. While these aren’t electronic, this is the closest Disney has come to releasing a BDX Droid that we can buy, and they look pretty detailed. These are coming soon to Disney Parks and online from the Disney Store.
Of course, the BDX Droids will make their big screen debut with The Mandalorian and Groguand I certainly hope they return to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, soon enough.
Similar to Hasbro The vintage collection Expansion that TechRadar exclusively revealed, the Disney Store and the parks will be home to a $39.99 Toybox action figure set featuring the main characters, The Mandalorian and Grogu, as well as Zeb Orrelios and R5-D4.
Even better is an upcoming talking Mandalorian action figure that will utter classic phrases and some new ones from the film. It will cost $34.99 at the Disney Store online and at select parks, and of course, it comes with Baby Yoda and an Anzellan figure.
Now, Din Djarin is no stranger to speeder bikes, and the Disney Store is ready to ship a fun RC couple from The Mandalorian with said bike. It will be fully controllable, allowing you to scroll through precise sounds from shows and movies. I just want to know if Grogu can be placed on the back. This will be exclusive to the parks, although you can expect it to hit the Disney Store at some point, along with a light-up AT-RT wind-up toy that looks especially fun.
However, if you ever wanted to be The Mandalorian, the Disney Store, as well as Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Galaxy’s Edge East and West, will be your place. There’s a brand new The Mandalorian helmet, with a focus on details and sound effects, for $119.99. Can be combined with Mando’s gauntlets, which light up and make sound, for $99.99.
We’re waiting for the Disney Store to confirm the exact release date for these, as well as a few other parts of this first release, but I’d expect to see them arrive in season four in May. We’re working on getting down to business, especially with the BDX Droids, so we’ll update you soon.
