Google’s new function of preferred sources allows you to customize which sites appear in the main stories section of your search results. That is good because it allows you to adjust the sites that appear in those news carousels, so the most reliable places, such as Techradar, appear more frequently.
Our many internal technology experts write about the new most exciting releases and the best technological offers on a daily basis, so to PakGazette one of its preferred main stories sources is (in our impartial opinion) a very good idea.
So how do you do it? The easiest way is just going to this Google search preferences linkwhere you can add PakGazette to your list of preferred sources (the function is currently only live in the United States and India).
But if you prefer to do it while looking for technology news, here is the other way to configure it …
1. Look for technological news on Google
Find a technological product or theme That has been in the news lately: this should give a box of ‘main stories’ in the upper part of its results.
Google’s new ‘preferred sources’ logo (a small star in a box) will appear to the right of the main stories banner, as you can see in the image above. Click or touch this icon and they will take it to the preferred sources screen.
2. Find Techradar and your other favorite sites
Search ‘PakGazette’ And your other favorite sites in this search box, then check the box Next to your name to add the site to your list of preferred sources.
3. Update the results
