The Superior Court of Baluchistan has prevented the provincial authorities from being forced the Afghan refugees who have valid registration cards (by), since the federal government intensifies its continuous offensive against undocumented immigrants.
The order was issued in response to a constitutional request presented by an Afghan refugee residing in Quetta.
A bank of the division comprising the president of the Supreme Court Ejaz Khan Swati and Judge Mohammad Amir Nawaz Rana ruled that Afghan refugees who have letters for not being evicted from the country until June 30.
Nusrat Afghan, lawyer of the AFGANA Union (AUG) group, welcomed the decision, saying that the ruling reinforces the legal right of documented refugees to remain in the country until mid -2015.
The federal repression, launched by the Police and the forces of the encumbrances after a deadline issued by the Ministry of Interior, has caused an alarm between humanitarian organizations and legal experts, which emphasize that the rights of documented refugees must be safeguarded under the Pakistani and International Law.

All detainees have been transferred to a temporary retention installation established in the Haji camp, from where they will be deported to Afghanistan after subsequent processing, police said.
The operations are part of the ongoing campaign of the federal government to repatriate from foreign citizens who reside illegally.
In this sense, the inspector General of Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, presided over a high -level meeting to review the status of deportations throughout the province, including Lahore.
IG Punjab said that the process of deporting undocumented foreigners of Punjab continues without interruption. “More than 1,000 people have already been transferred to designated tenure centers,” said Punjab police spokesman.
At present, 2,353 undocumented foreigners are arrested at various waiting points, while 203 have already been deported with the assistance of relevant federal agencies, added the spokesman.
Dr. Usman Anwar said that the coordination with the federal departments is ongoing, and the transfers are carried out from identified points to remove these people from the Punjab jurisdiction.
He stressed that waiting points were being used as intermediate facilities, and district administrations are responsible for arrangements, including transportation, food and logistics. The IG also instructed that security is maintained on a maximum alert throughout the deportation process.
It has been ordered that all RPO and DPO accelerate the deportation campaign and guarantee the rapid repatriation of all undocumented foreigners, under the directives of the federal government.
He stressed that operations should continue based on intelligence compiled by the special branch, CTD and other security and intelligence agencies.
The IG also ordered an exhaustive mapping, scanning and detection of undocumented foreigners, with full respect for human rights that will be guaranteed at each stage of the process.
District police officers have received instructions to maintain strict coordination with local administrations and other relevant departments.

Mapping, deportations in progress
Under the supervision of the foreign national security cell, operations against undocumented Afghan citizens remain in full. In the last two days, 1,085 individuals have been repatriated through Torkham’s border crossing.
According to a spokesman, 1,359 ACC holders were being deported on Saturday from detention areas in Punjab. Measures are also being taken against undocumented ACC holders.
The special cell of the department is to monitor and coordinate the efforts of the entire province, receiving daily reports from all districts, added the spokesman.
Meanwhile, Peshawar authorities have launched the mapping of undocumented foreigners who reside illegally in the city, identifying more than 100,000 people during the initial phase of the operation.
According to police sources, the mapping process aims to determine the concentration and locations of undocumented foreigners in various areas of the provincial capital.
To facilitate the operation, more than 90 dedicated teams have been formed, which include police personnel, district administration and other relevant departments. More than 200 police officers have been deployed specifically for mapping exercise in Peshawar.
At the same time, security contingents have been deployed in the tenure centers located in the districts of Peshawar and Khyber. Each of the two centers have been assigned 230 Security personnel to guarantee operations and security without problems.
Meanwhile, the district administration reported the identification of more than 160,000 people who have ACC in PESHAWAR. The authorities declared that measures will be taken against them. However, formal instructions have not yet been issued to proceed against undocumented foreigners.
At present, illegal foreign citizens are voluntarily being repatriated.
