The Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts, eliminated Yamamoto from the game after the Holliday home run. He put Blake Treinen with the 3-1 advantage.
The second base of the Orioles, Jeremiah Jackson, welcomed him to the game with a double. Then, Treinen hit Gunnar Henderson with a release and walked to Ryan Mountcastle. Only in this way, Baltimore had runners in an annotation position to achieve a miraculous return.
Treinen, still in the game with the bases loaded, walked for Colton Cowser to make him a game of a race. The Dodgers replaced Treinen with Tanner Scott, but the fate of Los Angeles would end. The third base Emmanuel Rivera connected simple to score two runners.
