Carl Dean died recently, leaving his wife, Dolly Parton, in a stab of sadness. They had been married for more than fifty years.

But the interesting thing about his wedding is that the Pop icon married his lonely husband against the wishes of his then manager, Fred Foster, who wanted him to delay the nuptials for at least one year.

In a 2016 setback event, he recalled in front of the media that it was an early period of his career. Monument Records has signed it: the well -known producer founded the seal.

“Actually I had just signed with Monument Records and Fred Foster, who was head of the label, was investing a lot of money in me to try to start in the business. And I had heard he was committed,” said the 79 -year -old man.

“And so he called me to the office and said: ‘I would really appreciate that if you were not marrying for at least one year. Therefore, I can make sure that I can get a return from my investment, because I want you to be free to work and do what I need to do.’ ‘

Dolly, however, did what she thought was better for her and married Carl. “So that weekend, Carl and I went to Ringgold, Georgia, and we got married so that it was not in Tennessee’s newspapers,” he said.

Carl has died on March 4. He was 82 years old.
