Lately, there have been rumors about Dolly Parton that her health is not up to par. In his latest post, he put those speculations to rest.
In a video, which she captioned, “I’m not dead yet!”, the country musician, while filming a commercial for the Grand Ole Opry, says, “I know lately everyone thinks I’m sicker than I am. Do I look sick to you? I’m working hard here. Anyway, I wanted to put everyone’s mind at ease.”
She continues, “I appreciate your prayers because I’m a person of faith, I can always use prayers for anything… but I want you to know that I’m okay. I have some issues, like I mentioned.”
“When my husband Carl was very sick, that was for a long time, and then when he passed away, I didn’t take care of myself,” the Jolene singer adds.
“So when it came down to it, the doctor said we have to take care of this, we have to take care of that, nothing important.”
“But I had to cancel some things so I could be closer to home, closer to Vanderbilt, where I’m getting some treatments here and there, but I loved you, I know I’m not dying,” he notes.
Dolly then directly addressed online rumors about her health. “Did you see that AI image of Reba? [McEntire] me too? “Oh, lord, they had Reba on my deathbed.”
“If I was really dying, I don’t think Reba would be the one on my deathbed, she might come visit me sooner, but anyway there are a lot of rumors going around, but I thought if I told you, you’d know I’m fine,” the 79-year-old adds.
“I’m not ready to die yet, I don’t think God is done with me and finished working. I love you for your care and I continue to pray for me,” Dolly concludes.
