Dominique Thorne discusses Ironheart in the last interview

The Marvel Studios “Ironheart” television series finally took off Hollywood on Monday (June 23) after a long trip to the small screen.

Originally filmed in 2022 for a 2023 launch, the series follows the young technological genius Riri Williams, who was introduced into “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” of 2022.

Expelled from the University, Riri, played by Dominique Thorne, tries to finance his ambition to perfect an Iron Man suit by joining a group of skillful thieves, directed by the hood (Anthony Ramos).

As the criminal world deepens, he realizes that he has to obtain his brain not only around technology but also magic.

Thorne told Reuters: “I hope that people, that exciting them, flows the juices. I hope the young girls also see and feel ‘yes. Let me be who I am. Let me stop in that truth. Let me stop me in that power'”.

But his technology expert trip is not easy. Throughout the series, Riri faces important decisions and, sometimes, his actions are not what you would expect from a conventional superhero.

“Oh, man, it was fun. It was good, it was fun. It was good to shake things a bit and notice ‘oh, this is not typical … This is a human!

The series is also starring Alden Ehrenreich as a fellow inventor, and Lyric Ross plays Riri’s assistant, Natalie, who is also an incarnation of her best dead friend.

Ross could not talk about his character for three years and now “Ironheart” will begin transmitting on June 24, he no longer has to lie about his key role in the series.

“Oh, my God, is relief a word strong enough?” He said Ross, and added: “We put a lot in this, a lot of blood, sweat and tears and you know, I am happy that everything is coming to fruition at this time and we can see all the good things that will come out of that, luckily, it is a good things to get out of that. We did something special.”
