The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, has strongly rejected what he called “irresponsible” and “manufactured” false news that circulates on social networks, which falsely attributed to a general general of Iraní General an claim that Pakistan would launch a nuclear attack against Israel in reprisals for any attack against Iran.
Speaking in the Senate on Monday, giving condemned the spread of false information following the growing regional tensions and urged the restriction in the midst of the growing conflict between Israel and Iran.
“Pakistan has not made such a statement. This is an extremely irresponsible and manufactured statement,” he said. He warned that “war is not a joke” and reaffirmed that the country’s nuclear and missile programs are purely for self -defense.

“Our nuclear and missile program is for our own protection,” he told legislators. “We say in 1998 that our nuclear weapons are for regional defense and peace. We have not signed the TNP because maintaining credible deterrence is necessary for our security.”
DPM also criticized the circulation of false news on social networks, citing an artificial video generated by intelligence falsely attributed to the president of the United States, Donald Trump and misinformation with respect to Pakistan’s nuclear stance.
“There was a video clip about Trump that later turned out to be generated by AI,” he said. “Since June 13, many false stories have emerged. Netanyahu’s interview that is distributed is 2011. This is not the children’s game, this is a serious war. We must act with caution.”
He also clarified that Pakistan had played a constructive diplomatic role. “We committed ourselves during the UN Security Council session. Iran appreciated the role of Pakistan,” Dar said. “The Foreign Ministers of Oman and Iran kept me informed. Iran’s Foreign Minister remained in constant contact during the conversations,” he added.
