Drake continues heating up meat with Kendrick Lamar

Drake appears to be showing no back down as he continues to take action in his feud with Kendrick Lamar.

His latest move comes through his legal team, which has responded to Spotify’s statement regarding the lawsuit the Grammy winner filed against the company.

The streaming giant denied the Energy hitmaker’s accusations of boosting Kendrick’s career not like us via bots in a New York court file.

“The Petition claims that an unidentified individual reported on a podcast that he used bots to achieve 30,000,000 streams on Spotify in the first few days of the release of ‘Not Like Us.’ “Spotify found no evidence to support this claim,” the streamer said.

In response, Variety He obtained the statement from the Canadian rap star’s legal consul, who called on Spotify to go through a legal process if they had nothing to hide.

“It is not surprising that Spotify is trying to distance itself from UMG’s allegedly manipulative practices to artificially inflate streaming numbers on behalf of one of its other artists,” the text reads.

He continued: “If Spotify and UMG have nothing to hide, then they should be able to comply perfectly with this basic discovery request.”
