The NBA greats backed up in the evaluation of the Golden State Warriors Draymond Green star of the newest format of the star game and the state of the league.
Instead of an East vs. format West This year, the NBA changed the game format to a mini tournament among four different teams chosen by Shaquille O’Neal, Candace Parker, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. Stephen Curry took Shaq’s team to a victory, and collected the MVP award from the star game.

Green was asked to qualify the format on a 1-10 scale. He said it was a “zero.”
“You work all year to be an All-Star and you can play up to 40, and then you finished. This is very unfair to Victor Wembanyama, who only took this game really seriously,” he said, through the new York Post. “Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who only took this game really seriously. When you talk about chasing the record of points, Melo, Kobe and all these types that had great nights of score. They do not have the opportunity to do that with this game.
“Everything so that we can see some rising stars. We are about to see the Olympic team, we now have the gift of seeing the Olympic team play against a U-19 team. Come on, what are we doing? This is ridiculous.”
He also said: “This stinks” and “is not basketball.”
Barkley and his basketball partner Oscar Robertson took Green’s comments to the task.

Barkley put responsibility in Green and his generation of basketball stars due to the lack of importance of the game of stars.
“I will disagree with Draymond a lot. I use the analogy like when the children ruin the house, you make them clean it and complain. They spoiled the game … their generation ruined the game.

“So do not act as if they are angry because they are trying to wear newbies … we are doing all kinds of trick to make this game exciting.”
Green also stirred Oscar Robertson’s feathers during the weekend.
The NBA champion said the games at this time are “boring” with “without substance.” The advent of the increase in 3 -point shooting has been the culprit. The NBA classifications have also suffered due to the game during the regular season.
“Each possession is some kind of chess movement. You do not understand that today in the NBA often … you not only get it on a regular basis. It is who can run faster, who can hit more three. It is not a substance.
Robertson did not have time for Green’s comments.
“Who cares what Draymond says? It means anything,” Robertson said in Siriusxm NBA Radio. “This is what I mean, one guy can say this, another guy can say that. The game is what it is. Or people like the game or do not, and I think people enjoy the game, especially If your team can win.
