- DREame Aqua10 is designed to revolutionize robovac mopping
- Comes with a roller mop that is cleaned while moving
- It also has a carpet protector, a roll and a hot water bath on the dock
Dreame is quickly becoming a brand to see when it comes to innovation of robots vacuum. We loved Dreame X50 Ultra Complete, with its small feet and its retractable navigation disk, when we tried it. That model was designed to clean in places that traditional bots cannot reach, but for their newest bots, Dreame has focused its attention on a different challenge: the mop.
Most of the best robots vacuum cleaners in the market can mop, as well as empty, but MOP functions do not tend to be so good, even in expensive bots. With the Aqua10 series, Dreame aims to change that.
Instead of a fixed mirror pad, whether the D D or dual rotating discs, Dreame Aqua10 uses a roller mop. When the pad returns to the bottom of the bot, a scraper eliminates any dirt. Then it is sprinkled with fresh water before you meet the next floor patch. That means that if it is going through a spill or dirty area, the dirt will not remain in the pad and will extend more on the floor. The pad rotates at 100 rpm and clean water is applied evenly through 12 spray nozzles.
“We realized that it is not just how strong the mop is, it is how clean the mop is maintained,” says Chen, a managing director of Dreame.
There are a handful of robot vacuum cleaners in the market that use a roller to mop. The current examples include the ecovacs ofEbot X9 Pro Omni and the Eureka J20, the last of which we tested and were very impressed.
However, with its Aqua10, Dreame has taken some steps further, presenting three special features that the brand says they are the first in the industry. My personal favorite is the roller ‘flugfrol’. This turns quickly (1,000 rpm!) In the direction opposite to the main roller of the mirror, and raises the fibers so that the pad is softer and better to get into grout lines and unequal tiles, and finally better for cleaning.
Dreame has also added a roller guard. This automatically closes on the roller when the bot approaches the carpet or carpets, to prevent the humid roller from contacting the carpets.
Once the mop is completed, the spring has the facilities for the roller to bathe in its ‘Themohub’. It will soak in water up to 100 ° C to eliminate fat and dirt.
The rest of the Robot vacuum is almost equally full of technology, with an incredibly strong 30,000 suction, and the same small threshold legs and retractable disc that we liked so much in the X50. Navigation and avoidance of objects are courtesy of AI Powerhouse Nvidia, and there is support of the subject for the integration of the smart home.
The Dreame Aqua10 series is scheduled to go on sale from the fourth quarter of 2025 (then from October). Where and how much is a mystery.
