A Telangana man has achieved a Guinness World Record after stopping the blades of an electric fan with his tongue in one minute.

The Guinness World Records shared a clip of Kranthi Kumar Panikera on Instagram attempting the feat and wrote: “Most electric fan blades stopped using their tongue in one minute, 57, by Kranthi Kumar Panikera DrillMan.”

Panikera is known as the “drill man” and in the video he can be seen standing in front of multiple electric fans and using his tongue with speed and precision to stop the blades, according to NDTV.

The stunt has caught people’s attention and one expressed concern over such a stunt and said, “How do they not cut out his tongue?” while another contemplated the need for a record: “Why is this something worthy of a record?”

Despite people’s questions, Panikera expressed his happiness at achieving the record and said that he comes from a small town where dreaming big was “too big for us.”

“Today achieving four Guinness World Records seems incredible. I feel truly honored and grateful to have been recognized by Guinness World Records,” he said.
