A drone attack on the residence of former Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa minister and current PTI MPA Anwar Zeb Khan left one person injured.

The injured person, identified as Zair Muhammad, a security guard of the MPA, sustained serious injuries in the attack that took place in Raghagan area of ​​Khar Tehsil in Bajaur. Zeb was not present at home at the time of the incident.

Security forces cordoned off the area and began investigations. The incident occurred following a protest rally that closed Khar Manda, Raghagan Road. MNA Gul Dad Khan and other prominent figures addressed the protesters and condemned the drone attack on the PTI leader’s residence.

KP Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi also condemned the explosion and termed the incident as a cowardly act by anti-peace elements.

He has directed IGP Zulfiqar Hameed to conduct a thorough investigation and submit the report at the earliest. He also directed the authorities to provide the best possible medical facilities to the injured person.

Maintaining law and order in the province is the top priority of the government and no miscreant will be able to escape the clutches of the law, Afridi said.
