The Department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD) predicts that the climate in Pakistan has dried once again, since the rain system that affected the majority of Punjab, including Lahore, has moved.
The country’s plains are now experiencing a dry spell, although the residual effects of recent rains and snowfall in the mountainous regions are still feeling.
In Lahore, today’s minimal temperature was recorded at 9 ° C, with a maximum of 23 ° C expected. It is forecast that the weather will remain cold and dry in most of the country, including the Federal Capital, Islamabad and its surroundings.
In Punjab, a dry spell is expected in most districts, with severe and partially clouded skies predicted to Murree, Garyat and neighboring areas.
In Sindh, the weather will remain dry in most districts, although some areas may experience partial cloud coverage. Similarly, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, dry and cold weather is anticipated in most districts, with the higher regions experiencing a severe cold.
In Kachemira and Gilgit-Baltist, a cold and partially cloudy climate pattern is expected to persist. It is also expected that the regions of southern Baluchistan experience a dry and cold climate, and the areas of the north see severe cold conditions.
The dry climate will last throughout the weekend, with a continuous cold spell in the northern and central regions of the country.
