A speed dumper ran over three young people riding a motorcycle in Karachi. The incident occurred when the Dumper crushed the motorcycle as it crossed from Korangi Ibrahim Hyderi. As a result, three young people lost their lives, said Express News.
The deceased were transported to the Jinnah hospital, while the Dumper driver managed to flee the scene.
After the accident, the enraged citizens set fire to the Dumper.
Upon receiving the news, a strong police presence came to the scene and tried to disperse the angry crowd.
The authorities initiated efforts to locate the driver of the murderer Dumper.
An eyewitness on the scene mentioned that the Dumper was accelerating on the wrong side of the road in broad daylight. The Dumper, who carried sand, fled after the incident.
In Karachi, Dumper’s drivers have been challenging the regulations and claims of the government, since heavy vehicles continue to recklessly operate in the streets of the city during the day, despite the official orders.
On the other hand, the police arrested the driver of Dumper responsible for a fatal accident in the Karachi Gulistan-E-Johar area earlier this week.
The fatal accident, which occurred on February 5, involved a high-speed Dumpers that collided with three motorcycles and two cars near the Gulistan-E-Johar turn, which resulted in the death of three individuals, including a woman, according to Express News.
After the accident, Dumper’s driver fled the scene, but the police quickly launched an investigation and arrested the defendant.
According to the police, three people died in the accident scene. The driver, identified as Mawaz Khan, fled after the incident.
However, Shahrah-E-Fafaisal police, using modern technology, tracked the driver and arrested him. A case has been registered at the Shahrah-E-Faisal Police Station, and more investigations are being carried out.
