Professional wrestling legend Dustin Rhodes has held a championship belt in almost every organization he has set foot in, including most recently as tag team champion in Ring of Honor.
Rhodes was a fan favorite in WWE when he was known as Goldust and was one of the first wrestlers to join All Elite Wrestling when the company started in 2019. Outside of the ring, someone else has become a show-stealer, and he is a Beast.

The Rhodes mastiff, named Beast, has become one of the top show dogs on the circuit in recent years and added to his resume Thursday when he took home third place in the open working group category at Crufts in the United Kingdom, the world’s largest dog show.
“It’s an incredible show,” Rhodes told Pak Gazette Digital. “I guess this is the biggest dog show in the world, so we decided to go big or go home. Incredible, incredible show.”
Working group dogs are meant to help and protect their owners.

“Beast is very good at seeing someone who has high or low blood pressure and we’ll go see him. He’s a very smart dog,” she said. “Mastiffs are amazing, amazing animals, man. I would never have another breed besides a mastiff and I’ve had all kinds of dogs throughout my life and mastiffs are everything: pure, loyal, loving, just crawling in your lap, hurting your bones.”

The wrestler said he “never thought” he would ever get into the dog show business, but has found immense success about two years into the endeavor. Now he has his eyes on the top of the charts.
“Look for the (show’s best) record,” he told Pak Gazette Digital when asked about long-term goals. “I think twenty-nine for mastiffs. We have 13 right now. So we’ll do the best we can in the next year and a half, two years, really campaign on the dog and advertise as much as we can. Hopefully, we’ll get there.”
