May 9 Mayhem

The events of May 9, 2023 refer to the violent protests that exploded in various parts of the country after the arrest of the founder of PTI and saw attacks on public properties and military facilities, including the house of the body of the Lahore house, also known as Jinnah House.

The riots were activated by the arrest of former Khan Prime Minister of the facilities of the Superior Court of Islamabad (IHC) in a graft case.

Several leaders and PTI workers were released on bail after their arrests, while many still remain behind bars.

The deposed Prime Minister, who was expelled from power through the motion of non -confidence confidence in April 2022, has been behind bars since August 2023, since he faced a series of positions ranging from corruption to terrorism.
