ECP postpon the Omar Ayub case until July 15


Islamabad:

The Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP) postponed on Tuesday the hearing of a disqualification reference against the opposition leader of the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan, until July 15, after the presentation of an order of suspension of his lawyer.

A bank of three members of the Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP), headed by Sindh Nisar Durrani member, had summoned the case.

During the process, Omar Ayub Khan’s lawyer presented a suspension order; However, Justice (RETD) Ikramullah, a KP member, declared that the Superior Court of Peshawar did not specify a new date in the stay order.
