Eddie Hill Death: Dolphins says that former NFL corridor died at 67


Eddie Hill, a former NFL corridor who played for Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins, died, one of her old teams announced on Monday. He was 67 years old.

The Dolphins announced Hill’s death in a publication on social networks.

“We are saddened by the death of the former Dolphins Runner Eddie Hill, who played for the 1981-84 team,” the team wrote in X.

No official cause of death was announced. Almost eight years ago, Hill opened to Sun-Sentinel about his health problems and revealed that he had fought against brain cancer. He told the newspaper that he believed that he was also dealing with chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, that it is believed to be caused by repeated blows in the head.

“Each life has a purpose and football was one of those biblical and biblical things that I learned early in the life that applied me, the gift,” he told the newspaper in May 2017, and added that he did not regret practicing the sport.

“And recently, in the last 10-15 years, I learned that purpose and I live that purpose.”

The Rams chose Hill in the second round of the 1979 NFL of Memphis.

He played for Los Angeles for two seasons, including an appearance at the Super Bowl in his rookie year. The Rams fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl XIV.

He was changed to Miami before the start of the 1981 season. He played four more years with the Dolphins before calling him a race.

It appeared in 75 games and had 443 yards per land with two touchdowns by land. As a special team player, he had 17 total kicks for 330 yards.
