Eight Pak mechanics fired in Iran

In a tragic incident, eight Pakistani motor mechanics were shot dead in the province of Sistan of Iran near the border between Pakistan-Iran.

All victims came from the Bahawalpur district and were used in a local workshop specialized in paint, polishing and vehicle repair.

The deceased were identified as Dilshad, their son Naeem, Jaffer, Danish, Nasir and others.

According to local sources, the unidentified assailants broke into the workshop during the night, tied the hands of mechanics and opened fire, killing them in the spot.

Iranian security forces cordoned off the area and recovered the bodies. The attackers remain unidentified. However, no group has still assumed the responsibility of the murder.

Initial reports suggest that the attack may have been carried out by an anti-pakistan terrorist group. Iranian authorities have launched an investigation into the incident heartbreaking, but so far there have been arrests.

The officials of the Pakistan Embassy in Tehran arrived at the site to identify the victims and collect more information.

A embassy spokesman confirmed that they are in constant contact with the Iranian authorities and assured that everything possible to ensure justice for the families of the victims would be done.

It is worth noting that a similar attack occurred in January 2024, when nine Pakistani workers were killed in the province of Sistan by unknown assailants.
