Eli Manning and Jaxson Dart have much in common.
New York giants negotiated to obtain both quarterbacks, each of which attended Ole Miss. And Dart, like Manning, has started his career sitting behind a veteran for a long time.
Shortly after the giants selected Dart with the 25 team after changing to the first round, the great blue legend contacted Dart and told the rookie that he had a line of doors for Manning to approach “on anything.”

“I told Jaxson: ‘If you have questions about something, I’m here for you,” Manning said Peter Schrager. “Related to football, or when you decide which city you want to live. This or that.”
But Dart contacted Manning about something that was totally unexpected: a five -star restaurant reserve.
“Suddenly, it’s a training camp. He calls me one day and says: ‘Do you have a minute?’ I say: ‘Yes, of course,’ he says: ‘Can you get a reservation at 4 charles tonight at 6:30?’
“I thought, ‘No, no, no. That is not part of the deal. When I said I am happy to help, I am not doing that. I am not your type of reservations. You have to win the right to call and make the reservation.”

Congratulations to Dart for using the Super Bowl twice to try to get one of the most difficult seats.
Dart is currently the second rope behind Russell Wilson, but it was used in some passing passage moves last week against the Dallas Cowboys.
It is unknown when exactly Dart will take care of full time, but, as a reference, Manning replaced Kurt Warner in the middle of a search for playoffs in 5-4 in 2004. Manning lost each of his first six openings before finishing the season with a victory.

The giants have 0-2 and face Kansas City bosses, they also look for their first victory, Sunday night.
