Prime Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the APNI ZAMEEN APNA GHAR Initiative, an emblematic welfare program aimed at providing free residential plots to the poorest and homeless citizens in the province.

The first phase of the scheme will allocate 1,892 free plots of 3-Marla in 23 low-income housing projects in 19 districts.

The initiative is being administered by the Housing and Planning Agency of the city of Punjab, under the administrative supervision of the Department of Housing Engineering, Urban Development and Public Health.

The program is part of the widest vision of CM Maryam Nawaz “Housing for All” and is designed to benefit those who meet the eligibility criteria.

Districts included in phase one

Atock, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar, Chinint, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khushab, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Okara, Rajanpur, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Vehari

Who is eligible?

You must have permanent state of residence in Punjab according to CNIC

Applications are only accepted within the applicant’s native district

The applicant, the spouse and the dependent children should not have any property in Pakistan

Clean criminal records are mandatory

The applicant should not be a morbone of a bank or financial institution

The presentation of false or misleading information will result in disqualification
