American tennis The professional Jessica Pegula suffered an impressive and early departure from Wimbledon in the first round on Tuesday when she was defeated in less than an hour by the 116th Italian, Elisabetta Cocciaretto.

“Playing here in such an incredible stadium and such an incredible tournament is a dream come true for me. I was very excited to play Wimbledon this year,” Cocciaretto said during his interview on the court after the game.

“I played a great champion. She is an incredible player, it is a great example for us.”
