Elsa Japan has launched the A70S G6 veluga, the first PC in the world to present RADEON AI PRO R9700 of AMD. The workstation is now available through the Elsa direct store with 498,000 yen, or around $ 3,360.
The Radeon Ai Pro r9700 is the most powerful GPU of AMD so far. It offers 96 computing performance TFLops with 32 GB of GDDR6 memory. Inference has a 1,531 tops rating with a 300W TDP.
The GPU is specifically designed for local workloads, such as the generative and large language models, which allows professionals to process demanding tasks without depending on the resources in the cloud.

The veluga combines the GPU with an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor, a CPU Zen 5 of eight cores that runs between 3.8 GHz and 5.5 GHz.
The system comes with 64 GB of RAM DDR5-5600 and can be extended to 128 GB.
The storage options vary from 1TB to 8TB NVME PCIE GEN4 SSDS, which offer speeds close to the maximum genes of GEN4.
The A70S G6 veluga is built around the AMD B650 chipset with a microatx board, leaving space for expansion. It includes a PCIE 5.0 X16 (occupied by the GPU) and four PCIE 4.0 X16 slots for additional cards. The power is provided by a 1,000W supply certificate at 80 Plus Gold standards.
The cooling of the system is managed by a large and quiet air cooler in the CPU and three cases of cases: two 120 mm units in the front and one in the rear. The case measures 220 x 460 x 465 mm, weighs 14.25 kg and follows a standard format of the average tower.
The front panel has two USB 3.0 Type A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen2 type-C ports, plus audio shots. The rear panel adds a USB 3.2 Gen2 type A, a USB 3.2 Gen2 type C, two USB 3.2 GEN1 and four USB 2.0 ports type A.
The network includes a 2.5 Gbps LAN port along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. The audio is provided by 7.1 channels HD output and a S/PDIF connector.
Windows 11 Pro is pre -installed, and the system is sent with a three -year shipping guarantee.
Elsa was originally founded in Germany in 1980 and became well known for his video cards before going to bankruptcy in 2002. His Japanese arm began in 1997, he became independent the same year and continues to sell professional hardware exclusively in Japan.
For that reason, unfortunately it seems unlikely that we see the veluga-d A70s G6 launched worldwide.
