Islamabad:
The Federal Minister of the Pakistani abroad Chaudhry Salik Hussain has announced that around 500,000 pensioners of the Old Benefits Institution (EOBI) of the employees will receive their improved pensions together with arrears as of September 1.
According to this disbursement, EOBI will release almost RS10 billion in monthly pension payments.
The federal cabinet has already approved the increase in pension, increasing the minimum RS10,000 to RS11,500 pension per month. In addition, formula -based pensions have increased by 15 percent, as of January 1.
