The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has reaffirmed the unwavering support of his country to Pakistan, expressing satisfaction for the recent stop the fire between Pakistan and India.

When heading to a cabinet meeting, President Erdogan described the agreement as a positive step towards regional stability and emphasized the total support of Türkiye for the Peace Initiative.

Erdogan condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Kashmir and missile attacks in the Pakistani territory, underlining the continuous diplomatic efforts of Türkiye to help discourage tensions between the two residents of southern Asia.

The Turkish leader praised the resistance and patience of the Pakistani people, accrediting the country’s leadership for its measured and strategic response during a challenging period.

He also confirmed a recent telephone conversation with Pakistan’s prime minister, Shehbaz Sharif, during which the two leaders discussed key bilateral and regional issues.
In his comments, President Erdogan urged Pakistan to avoid provocations and capitalize on the calm caused by the high fire to address long -standing disputes, including the water problem.

He concluded with a strong message of solidarity, assuring Islamabad that Türkiye, God, Pakistan both in good and bad.
